Cash value of life insurance in RetirementView software

Hi. How should I handle cash value of life insurance in software. I have a client with about 260,000 in CV. I entered the amount in Tax-Free investments. Is that correct.

Yes that's what most people do... note that the program will tap that as needed during retirement.

So it's not going to following any withdrawal limits or surrender charges or anything like that.

Alternatively you could enter it as a cash infusion and inject it into Tax Free at say age 80

or later in life when perhaps other investments are all gone. This is good if you

want to have them spend down the Qualified money before the life insurance.
