Duplicate Files Showing

Q:

When I go to retrieve a recent file, it often lists the same file several times. Which one is the most current? Does it make a difference if I choose the wrong one?

A:

if you did not create all those files then you have accidentally gone into the BACKUPS folder and are opening and saving files in backups.
This causes much confusion.
The folder you should be opening and saving files to is:
\Documents\Torrid Technologies\Retirement Savings Planner\Client Files

When you do a File -> Open look at the top of the file dialog to see the PATH you are accessing.  Click the drop down to see the full path and see if it is in backups or not.  Let us know what you find.  If you do see backups... you simply click to move to the correct folder.
