Saving Data Files to a Shared Drive

When you’re ready to save a data file to a shared drive:

1. Go to the File drop down at the top of your window.
2. Click "Save Clint As…”
3. The software defaults to a file chain in your Documents folder. Instead, select your shared drive.
4. Be sure to name the file and click save.
5. Voila!

When you’re ready to open an existing file from a shared drive, click on File > Open.

It will probably default to the Documents file chain, but you can just select your shared drive and choose the client file you need.

Some computers learn where you tend to default for specific programs, so yours may… can’t promise, but it’s pretty easy to click over to the file you want.
