Customer Richard M. wants to know if there is a way that you can save multiple scenarios on the Retirement Planner and if so how to do this. Also he wants to know if we know of a valid source/website we might have to calculate the value of his networth in 40 years from now, since the money value will probably change. Please assist.
Richard,
No there is not a way to save multiple scenarios in the Couples edition of our retirement software. You can only do that in the Professional Edition of RetirementView.
However, if you look at the types of things to vary like Investments, infusions and expenses... enter every idea you have on those screens and use the check box to include or not include different items. This lets you try different retirement scenarios quickly but in the same file.
As for networth, the program has the Savings Graph which projects out your investment values based on investment returns but also spend rates. Right now we don't have a liabilities screen to project out true networth.
As for online tools that do net worth, I would just suggest you search in Google and see if you can find one.
