Windows and Mac RetirementView Multi-Pak Instructions (RB or XJ VERSIONS)

Hello,

Thanks for purchasing a RetirementView software multi-pack. The latest release is "2016.3b XJ" which you can download below

This article is meant to give you basic instructions about how to install the software, request your activation keys, and generally get up and running.

  1. First, please email us a list of advisors that will be using the software. We need each person's email address and phone number.   Each one will be requesting an activation key when they install it, so it would be helpful to have a list when those key requests reach our support team.
  2. Start by downloading and installing the software from this location. Once you click the link, select RUN if that is an option that is presented.  If your only option is to SAVE, note where the file is being download to, because you will have to go there and double click the file to start the installer. 
    1. Windows: http://www.torrid-tech.com/downloads/401k2016pro-RB.exe  
    2. MAC: If you are on a Mac, you should go to this page to download and follow Mac instructions.
  3. Next, once you install it, enter your name as you want it printed on the report.  It will also ask for your birthdate (which is stored locally to generate a unique id, but is not sent to us)
  4. Click OK and you should be at the start-up screen.
  5. Click "Activate after Purchase" button.  Then click the hyperlink in STEP 2 of the next screen.  This will open a web browser and go to the activation key request form.
  6. Fill out the Activation Key Request form, and submit it to us for processing.  You will then be emailed your activation key.

 

YOU WILL NEED TO REPEAT THE ABOVE PROCEDURE ON ANY COMPUTER THAT YOU INSTALL THE SOFTWARE ON.
