I just ran a projection for someone and I could not get the program to compute the social security for me. I went to settings and clicked the box to tell it to use the SSA calculations but got nothing. Any idea why?
2 reasons this might occur... 1) they are too old... if they are over 60 I think the program won't calculate an estimate as you need to use their SSA estimate or 2). you have no job income... they have to have some job income to generate an estimate. That and the current age and retirement age are all we have to generate an estimate.
