PROBLEM:
Investments or Cash infusions: when moving from one cell to another I sometimes get an Invalid Type Mismatch error.
WORKAROUND AND SUGGESTIONS:
We know it you move to the dollar value and enter nothing and tab out it will trigger this error. We are working to try to find a way to keep the program running when this happens but have not found a solution yet.
First, to keep from rebooting you need to end task on the application. In Windows, hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE to open task manager. Go to Applications tab and do End Task on the running application. If you are in Parallels or soemthing similar on the Mac, then hit CTRL-SHIFT-ESC and it will bring up the Task Manager so you can End Task on it. This at least prevents you from having to reboot.
Second, if you are using enter or tab try clicking with the mouse. Be careful not to enter dollar signs, commas or any character that the grid will see as "not a number" as we believe this is what triggers the problem.
Hopefully we will find a permanent fix soon.
