Originally from ticket #9553.
Once again...after running fine for 3 weeks or so...all my data
disappeared.
Any ideas?

This only occurs if
1). program crashes and it dumps bad data into the file corrupting the file.
Has the program crashed on you at all?
2). You double click the icon and open two copies... accidentally... you edit first copy and save.
Then close the 2nd copy which overwrites changes you made in the first copy.
3). You "clean up" your documents and move the data file. The data file is static and cannot be moved or
when program opens it creates and starts with a blank file. The data is located here:
My Documents\Torrid Technologies\Retirement Savings Planner\defaults.dat
Do not move that file.
If you need to recover your data, you can do that by recovering from the backups folder.
