Decompression error on installation

PROBLEM:

I am unable to install the professional edition for windows. I receive an error message that a decompression error has been detected.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:

Gina,

Do you have admin privileges to install the app?

Are you hitting Run or Save?
You might try hitting Save and confirming that the downloaded file is about 5.4Mb.

Have you tried disabling your anti-virus before installation?

Here is a post on our KB about someone else who had same problem.
There was an error on their hard drive for some reason.

My last suggestion would be to ask your IT person to see if they can assist you.
Many people have already downloaded and installed the latest version, so
it's not an issue with the file on the server.
