Not sure if I requested the incorrect download or not, but can not enter
data for my spouse and I separately (i.e. couples version?). Perhaps that
is a limitation of the trial version?
Additional question would be the ability to set variable income needs over
retirement (i.e I'm likely to travel and spend @ 65 years of age, but much
less likely at 80 years).
Answer:
If you want to enter your spouse, you need the Couples Edition.
You can download that for windows at:
http://www.torrid-tech.com/downloads/downloads.html
Select the 2nd link and install the couples version.
Make sure you don’t have the software running when you do this
and it will overwrite the personal with the couples version.
For reducing your spending, enter zero for Retirement Income Goal.
Then click Special Expenses… use one line for the age 65 yo 80 period.
Use another line for age 80 and beyond. This way you can model and
shape the income needs any way you want… one line per period you
can model as many periods/variations as you want.
